This place is amazing! Makes you feel like you are in Korea. I ordered the goat stew and it was more than enough for 3 people to share. They give you a lot of meat and then the fried rice afterward is to die for. Definitely recommend this place!

Can't go wrong with goat stew. We got the two person but it was enough for four. Then after when you have a little left at the end, they make fried rice for you! We have enough for lunch tomorrow

Not much a fan of black goat, but whenever I get pulled in by dad or a friend, I enjoy it, lol.
If going to eat black goat, Mirak never seems to disappoint on meat quality (some places the meat is tough like maybe cooked from frozen or something).
It's a good low carb meal with protein and tons of veggies in the delish sauce (get extra sauce!), but ends up a high carb meal once you eat up the fried rice at the end.
And that is the only thing I can recommend at any black goat place, it is best to order the JunGol where they have the pot boiling/simmering at your table.
Don't think I've ever had a good black goat ordering a 1 person small pot.
Need the JunGol to get the quality meat and tons of veggies, and the addicting rice made at the end. This latest trip with dad, we ended up with a take out bowl of leftover rice. Wife who doesn't like much of any meat loved the fried rice reheated up at home. Too bad I didn't get sauce to go, the rice with sauce is awesome. -

i had the goat stew and the grilled pork belly! it was probably one of the best Korean meals i've ever had! the goat stew was tasty and tender! the pork belly you can tell is quality and the experience was memorable.

I didn't give it five stars because of parking. It can be bad during busy hours. However, this is the best place for goat dish in Koreatown. Its quality is unparalleled, and the way they finish off the plate by mixing the rice at the end is the perfect ending to a good goat dish. It's an acquired taste and some people don't like it, but I absolutely love it, and highly recommend to those craving for some good Korean goat dish.
